"One eye sees, the other feels" by Paul Klee

I use a variety of styles and methods for my creative art and design, including drawing, printing, collage, typography and mask making. I have always drawn cartoons and was influenced by Ralph Steadman and Gerald Scarfe. This image was based on an earlier design about trade disputes in 1980s but updated to reflect my feelings about Brexit.

I create works of art and craft as a visual narrative for my storytelling, which includes this banner that I screen printed. My design is based on the Celtic Tree Calendar and Ogham Alphabet, where each rune represents a month and a tree. In this case the hand-painted rune depicts HUATH or The May Tree (Common Hawthorn).

Green Man 1

As part of my storytelling about natural and cultural heritage I use folklore, which includes this mythical character. This first image shows how simple linocut prints using single colour ink on different papers can be used to create interest, which in this case is achieved using collage of three separate prints.
