A storyteller's tale
"Inside each of us is a natural-born storyteller, waiting to be released" by Robin Moore
I work with other artists and outdoor learning practitioners to lead community-based projects, use my art and design to influence change and share innovative ideas for helping people connect to art, the natural world and each other.
Community interest - I help local communities connect with nature so that we can all celebrate and conserve our unique historic landscapes. I pride myself in delivering welcoming and inclusive adult learning experiences. I achieve this with small groups so that learners can connect with art, nature and each other.

Human interest - being in the natural world or taking part in arts and crafts helps improve our physical, mental, emotional and social wellbeing. A key part of my approach is using outdoor learning activities that offer direct contact with nature. I combine that with classroom based teaching of natural processes and art and design skills.

Wildlife interest - I provide interactive learning sessions about ecology, conservation and gardening for biodiversity, as well as creative practice workshops inspired by the natural world. I seek to make biology, nature, art, design and crafts accessible to a wider audience and promote lifelong learning.

Fundamentally I want to help groups and individuals reconnect with art & design, crafts, the natural world and their local heritage, so that as communities we can support people's health and wellbeing and to make time for art in our lives and space for nature in our world.
