Stage 1 of FAD has been interesting and effective in encouraging me to apply diagnostic investigation to my creative practice so that I've tried new methods, used new materials and applied new and prior learning to my creations. I made gel block print (LHS) of fresh plant material during Summer Sketchbook project as printmaking practice for this course. It was made using two colours (yellow & orange) on 'dirty' block hence third colour blue.The photograph of a typewriter (RHS) was taken at the V&A Museum and is an example of a 'chance encounter' as taken to record item itself only noticing artistic value of reflection when reviewing the image on my mobile before moving on.
